What is W.A.T.?
W.A.T. is water activated tape, also known as gummed tape, reinforced tape, gum tape, corrugator tape, box tape, kraft tape, paper tape, and so on.

W.A.T. is used primarily in the sealing of corrugated boxes and is particularly effective with the rising content of recycled material in corrugated board.

Water Activated Tapes tapes bond instantly to both virgin and recycled surfaces, creating a permanent bond and a tamper evident package.

What is available?

W.A.T. is available in numerous strength, sizes and prints. Our non-reinforced paper W.A.T. tapes are available in light, medium and heavy duty from 1" to 6" and in kraft and white coloured paper. Our reinforced paper and fiberglass tapes are available in six different strengths. These tapes vary in the strength of the fiberglass reinforcement, as well as in the use of different adhesives for different applications.

How is W.A.T. used?
	W.A.T. requires the use of manual or electronic dispensers in order to ensure a consistent application of water to the tapes adhesive. The use of W.A.T. dispensers provides cost certainty by dispensing exact lengths of tape every single time.
